From helping get you and your brand or team on top of the podium, to exceeding your partner's expectations on exposure and branding, to motivational and keynote speaking, to vehicle set up and stunt driving, Henry Morse is your go-to driver. With expertise ranging from karts, vintage cars, sports cars, Challenge cars, GT cars, supercars, to Le Mans Prototypes, experience the positive impact Henry has had on every team he has driven for and coached.
HENRY STARTED RACING IN SANCTIONED BICYCLE/TRICYCLE RACES LIKE THE MANHATTAN BEACH GRAND PRIX, IN THE 2-4 YEAR OLD CLASS, SHORTLY BEFORE HIS SECOND BIRTHDAY. FROM THE AGE OF 5-9, HENRY CUT HIS TEETH ROAD RACING MOTORCYCLES AT GRANGE, BUTTONWILLOW, ADAMS AND CALSPEED, IN THE COMPETITIVE SCMINIGP YOUTH ROAD RACING SERIES, WHERE HE EARNED A ROOKIE OF THE YEAR AWARD IN 2008. HE STARTED KARTING IN 2011 AT K1 SPEED, WHERE MORSE WON TEEN THEN ADULT TITLES IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS, BEFORE MOVING ON TO OUTDOOR AT CALSPEED SUPER SERIES.
IN 2014, HENRY WON HIS FIRST-EVER OPEN WHEEL KARTING RACE, AND WON HIS FIRST OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE AGE OF 13 KPV, BEFORE HE MOVED ON TO LAKC, SKUSA AND ROTAX CHALLENGE, WHERE AS A ROOKIE, HE ALSO WON ROTAX SENIOR, AND THE IKF GRAND NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
LIKE SO MANY YOUNG RACERS, HENRY MORSE HAD A DREAM OF BEING A PROFESSIONAL DRIVER. AND AT 15, HIS DREAM, BEING A DEVELOPMENT DRIVER FOR A FORMULA E TEAM, COACHING MANY DRIVERS FROM THE AGE OF 7-70, IN BOTH KARTS AND CARS ON TRACKS LIKE AUTO CLUB SPEEDWAY, DRIVING AT OVER 160 MPH, HAS ALREADY BECOME A REALITY.
IN 2016 HENRY RACED 43 TIMES, INCLUDING A DOZEN RACES WITH HALE MOTORSPORTS AND MAZDA MOTORSPORTS IN A MAZDA 2, IN THE PIRELLI WORLD CHALLENGE SERIES. HE WAS AWARDED TOP ROOKIE IN THE TOURING CAR B-SPEC CLASS, WON RACES, POLE POSITIONS, SET LAP RECORDS AND FINISHED IN THE TOP THREE OVERALL. HOW DID A 15 YEAR OLD QUALIFY FOR THAT? TALENT, EFFORT, WORK, AND LUCK.
HENRY FOLLOWED THAT SEASON UP BY WINNING BOTH A CAR AND A KART NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN A SINGLE YEAR, THEN WENT ON TO SET LAP RECORDS, WIN SHOOTOUTS, AND BE THE PRO IN PRO-AM ENDURANCE RACES, FROM MITJET TO LE MANS PROTOTYPE.
“I LOVE RACING. BEING ON TRACK AND COACHING ARE MY PASSIONS. MY PARENTS HAVE DONE WHAT THEY CAN, AND MY PARTNERS HAVE BEEN ABLE TO HELP ME GET THIS FAR. FOR THE NEXT STEP, I NEED YOU ON MY TEAM! I'M A FULL TIME STUDENT AT UC BERKELEY WHERE I AM ON THE BUSINESS UNIT AND DRIVE FOR THE FORMULA SAE TEAM. I SPEND TIME IN THE SIMULATOR AND TRAINING EVERY DAY, I’M ON TRACK COACHING OR DRIVING EVERY CHANCE I GET, AND A LARGE PART OF MY DAY IS SPENT PROMOTING THOSE WHO MAKE THIS ALL POSSIBLE.
“WE PROVE OUR VALUE TO COMPANIES BY ALWAYS OVER-DELIVER ON OUR END, SO THAT THE NEXT SEASON IS EASIER FOR THEM TO JUSTIFY MAINTAINING OR INCREASING THEIR INVESTMENT. WE LOVE EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS. I'VE MADE A HABIT OF IT AND HAVE NO INTENTION OF BREAKING THAT HABIT ANY TIME SOON."

"I first met Henry at age 11 at CalSpeed Karting, when I was doing some guest instruction with Sports Car driver Craig Stanton. Henry was driving with us, and at the time had very little outdoor karting experience.
Henry immediately was able to pick up the basics and by the end of only three on track sessions, was among the fastest drivers on track. This was very impressive to me, especially considering that Henry was only 11 years old at the time.
A few months later, I competed head-to-head with Henry at the first Sport Kart Grand Nationals in 2012. My teammate Logan Calvin (who would later in the weekend win the event and become National Champion) had built up a decent lead and thought we would be able to settle the race between ourselves. Just as we started thinking that, here comes Henry making our lives tough! The three of us battled it out for several laps in a very hard but very clean race. I was already impressed by Henry before then, but now had a ton of respect.
I've watched Henry move on to other forms of car and kart racing but still join us for some racing in the CalSpeed Super Series events. Each time, Henry is able to click back into form very quickly even though the Sport Karts are not nearly as fast as the karts that he drives more regularly. That by itself is an impressive feat.
“As a lead racing instructor for Jim Hall Racing School, I worked with Henry Morse from the age 12-13 and watched him compete in our championship race series. I immediately recognized Henry’s abilities as a driver both on and off the track. Not only does he drive with extreme smoothness and precision, he also shows exceptional passion and commitment for the sport. While Henry shows unprecedented skill and consistency in a kart, he also excels in adaptability moving from vehicle to vehicle. He can rapidly tailor his driving style to suit the handling characteristics of the various karts that he regularly drives, and has a natural ability in open and closed wheel race cars. This is particularly impressive given his young age. Additionally, Henry’s good character and sportsmanship is second only to his skill on the track. He graciously accepts constructive criticism and has a good attitude no matter what the outcome of his day. I look forward to watching Henry progress in his racing career and can say with confidence that he has the talent to make it as a professional racing driver.“
"Henry Morse is a true student of the craft. Henry possess the determination and aptitude to excel in motorsports. While watching Henry transition to cars, it is clear he will do whatever it takes to become successful just as he was in karts, setting pro-level lap times his first time out!"
"Henry Morse is a true natural. At the young ripe age of 14 he's been through karting championships and is making a storm onto the scene of the Car world. His first day in a sports car blew my mind, after just three sessions he was barely off the record pace, and after 2 days he was completely up to tempo and doing full flying hot laps setting Pro-level times. Watch out for this kid and remember his name, he's coming to a professional race series near you and he's not going to give up easily. The endurance and stamina of a marathon runner, the heart of a lion, and never loses focus. An hour of hot laps for him is like a walk in the park. Someone offer this kid a seat and you won't regret it. I can't wait to see him progress!"
